Woodlands Elite Cardiology

What to expect during your Cardiac Consultation

The Woodlands Elite creates a professional and specialised environment in diagnosing and treating cardio-vascular diseases. Therefore, at your first visit at our clinic, you can expect a welcoming nurse who will inspect all the information you provide and perform an EKG (Electrocardiogram).

After that, you will be consulted by one of our highly trained cardiologists who will examine the EKG results and conduct a complete examination fn your heart and vascular system. You will be informed about the findings and the doctor will determine whether the gathered information offered sufficient insights to suggest a treatment or if further tests are required for a proper diagnosis.

Our mission is to provide excellent medical care for patients suffering from vascular diseases or heart related problems, and at the same time create a comfortable process and environment for all the patients.

CARDIOVASCULAR CONDITIONS
WE SPECIALIZE IN

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

An enlargement of the aorta, the main blood vessel that delivers blood to the body, at the level of the abdomen.

Arrythmias

Improper beating of the heart, whether irregular, too fast, or too slow.

Atherosclerosis
(clogged arteries)

The build-up of fats, cholesterol, and other substances in and on the artery walls

Atrial Fibrillation

An irregular, often rapid heart rate that commonly causes poor blood flow.

Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

A chronic condition in which the heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should.

Coronary Artery Disease

Damage or disease in the heart's major blood vessels.

High Blood Pressure

A condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high.

High Cholesterol

High amounts of cholesterol in the blood

Myocardial Infarction
(Heart Attack)

A blockage of blood flow to the heart muscle.

Peripheral Artery Disease

A common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs.

Peripheral Vascular Disease

A slow and progressive circulation disorder caused by narrowing, blockage, or spasms in a blood vessel.

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)

Is narrowing or blockage of arteries that causes poor blood flow to your arms and legs.

Stroke

Damage to the brain from interruption of its blood supply.

Heart Murmur

Sounds during your heartbeat cycle — such as whooshing or swishing — made by turbulent blood in or near your heart.

Venus Reflux Disease

A medical condition affecting the circulation of blood in the lower extremities. The tiny valves that normally force blood back up towards the heart no longer function, causing blood to pool up in the legs, and the veins of the legs become distended.
